Accidents and injuries

  • If you are involved in a road traffic accident in a Royal Mail vehicle or your own private vehicle (at any time of the day or night)
  • If you suffer an injury caused by a manual handling operation at work
  • Exposure to hazardous substance
  • If you are injured using faulty equipment
  • Lack of protective clothing
  • If you sustain an injury due to a trip or fall, whether it's at work or in your free time.

Flexible working
Sometimes circumstances beyond your control can make keeping to contracted hours difficult, i.e. a member of your family becomes ill or your childcare arrangements have failed. HELP can talk you through possible options on flexible working.

Bullying & harassment
If you feel that you are suffering from harassment whether in work or outside, HELP can talk to you in complete confidence about your rights and give you some suggestions about how to boost your confidence and the appropriate way to tackle the problem.

For employees who are experiencing distress as a result of financial issues, legal and financial services are available to help them reduce the distress that they are experiencing.
