Depression

Feeling down, sad or low is something we all experience at different stages of our lives. These feelings are normal if felt occasionally and are the body’s retreat response to a loss or change. How we perceive change will determine how it affects us. If we fear change, then when it happens it is likely to worry or upset us. But if we see change as offering us a different set of options, then it can become exciting and new. Traumatic Stress can occur when we have experienced a traumatic incident. these incidents can be anything that happens to us that is out of the ordinary range of daily events including accidents, robberies or burglaries, violent attacks, or witnessing a traumatic event such as a death. They can also be major disasters involving many people or a personal event.
