If you are feeling upset or worried, you can talk to one of HELP´s advisors to identify the causes, ie. issues at home or work and the experts will support you in developing the coping skills necessary to deal with these issues.
Bereavement
When a loved one dies you may be expected to deal with a number of practical issues and you may experience a range of emotions. HELP can provide grief counselling, practical support benefit advice and a referral to HELP's legal or financial partners for specific assistance.*
Conflict or harassment
Advisors can help you explore the emotional impact of conflict or harassment at work and discuss with you the various procedural routes open to resolve the situation.
Ill-heath retirement
During ill-health retirement, HELP offers guidance on your particular situation and your options following retirement. Financial decisions are important at this time and HELP provides the appropriate expert advice on this.
Relationship or family problems
If you are experiencing a break-up or family conflict you can receive support tailored to your needs, including on-going telephone support, face-to-face counselling, couple counselling or referral to HELP's legal or financial partners for specific assistance.*

HELP covers issues such as bereavement, debt, relationships and work problems. For employees who are experiencing distress as a result of financial issues, legal and financial services are available to help them reduce the distress that they are experiencing.
