Practical assistance

HELP’s independent advisors have a wealth of experience and knowledge on tap for you. Here are a few examples:

Childcare and care for the elderly
HELP has access to databases, which list approved elder and childcare providers, you just need to supply your postcode, your requirements and any special needs and HELP will research the best providers and give you a shortlist.

Counselling
HELP has an approved, nationwide network of counsellors, who can support you in learning to solve your problems in a constructive way. You can have up to four sessions, in the strictest confidence, by telephone or face-to-face, at a time and location that suits you.*

Debt
You can work with HELP’s professional partners, to develop a realistic programme to manage your finances more effectively. In some cases, your debt can be reduced significantly and your interest frozen.

Support agencies and benefits
HELP has information and access to all Government agencies and the Government benefit system, including the Child Support Agency, the Department for Work and Pensions and immigration information. General information and advice can be given, although specific entitlement can only be confirmed by the agency involved on an individual basis.*

* Please refer to the full terms and conditions.

HELP covers issues such as bereavement, debt, relationships and work problems. For employees who are experiencing distress as a result of financial issues, legal and financial services are available to help them reduce the distress that they are experiencing. Resident families are not entitled to legal or financial services.
